A calendar of Italian diplomatic offices around the world

The publisher Giovanni Battista Colombo wanted to commemorate this anniversary with a calendar for 2024 illustrated with images of the covers and interiors of the Italian Embassies and Residences around the world that are part of the series.

It starts in January with the presentation of the Italian Embassy in Berlin, “The Palace on the Tiergarten“, to continue in February with the Residence of the Italian Ambassador in Brussels, “The Caraman Chimay Palace“ or “The Palace of Avenue Legrand.” For March it is the turn of the Italian Embassy in Copenhagen, “Il Palazzo sulla Fredericiagade“, April continues with the Italian Embassy in Dublin, “Il Palazzo di Lucan House“, May with the Italian Embassy in Egypt and June with the Residence of the Italian Ambassador in Istanbul, “The Palace of Venice“. In July, the Residence of the Italian Ambassador in Aia, “The Palace of Sophialaan“, is illustrated, followed in August by the Italian Embassy in Lisbon, “The Palace of the Counts of Pombeiro“ and in September the Italian Embassy in London; in October the Italian Embassy in Madrid, in November the Italian Embassy in Vienna, “Il Palazzo Metternich“ and finally in December the Italian Embassy in Washington, with “Il Palazzo sul Potomac“.

In reproducing the images of the respective covers, the Italian version was used while taking into account that many of the publications cited are published in two versions: Berlin in Italian and German, Brussels in Italian and French, Il Cairo in Italian, English and Arabic, The Hague in Italian and Dutch, Lisbon in Italian and Portuguese, London in Italian and English, Vienna in Italian and German and Washington in Italian and English.
