Aics promotes new opportunities for CSOs in Sudan

In the complex Sudanese political scenario, the AICS Italian Agency for Development Cooperation has prepared a portfolio of programs in support of Sudan amounting to over 100 million euros. This portfolio, divided into different sectors, is supported by a widespread presence of AICS in Sudan, through five field offices and a coordination office in the capital Khartoum. The presentation of priorities and opportunities will be held in the “Giulio OnestiAcqua Acetosa Olympic Complex in Largo Giulio Onesti, in Rome on Thursday 14 July at 9.30 am.

With a view to expanding the number of NGOs with which AICS collaborates in Sudan, and in consideration of the limited number of Italian NGOs currently registered in the country, the Khartoum office, through this event, intends to promote the registration of OSC in Sudan, illustrating the operational scenario, the registration procedures and the necessary requirements to be met in order to operate in the country in line with the provisions of the national regulatory framework.
