Colosseum and Pantheon the news in view of the next Jubilee

In the recent visit to the Colosseum by the new Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano, the next moves that will concern the Flavian Amphitheater in view of the next Jubilee were revealed. It will be an “epic” operation that will revive the most important Roman arena by returning it to the glories of antiquity. In fact, a cover will be set up for the basement which will be activated by a sophisticated mechanism of carbon slats, covered with wood, which will cover the 3000 square meters of the legendary stage in 30 minutes. Satisfaction comes from the director of the Archaeological Park, Dr. Alfonsina Russo who accompanied the Minister on a visit to one of the seven wonders of the world.

On the sidelines of this day, the Minister wanted to recall how the Pantheon will also undergo changes, but not architectural changes this time, but “logistics”. The monument will require a ticket to be visited, a ticket that will be mandatory only for non-residents, while for Romans access will remain free.
