The customary concert on May 1st in Piazza San Giovanni in Rome promises to be full of national and international artists. For Labor Day, since 1990 the unions of CGIL, CISL and UIL have organized and promoted this free event, which sees many artists perform every year, especially national ones, but often cameos by some international stars.
This year the international guest will be the young Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora, known for the single “Cure For Me” which also became the soundtrack of the May Day Rome video teaser. Aurora made herself known with the cover of the Oasis song “Half the World Away” and at the age of 12 she composed “Runaway”, then published in 2016, which led her to success with over 300 million daily visits on TikTok conquering audiences from all over the world. She currently boasts over 4 and a half million of followers on TikTok and over 5 million subscribers on the Youtube channel.
