After Bari, Florence and Rome and finally in Naples, the national road show “Cybersecurity 5.0 – Career Day” stops in Padua on Wednesday 20 March. It is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together leading companies in the sector with young people interested in pursuing a career in the world of cybersecurity. The career day boasts the patronage of the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), the Representations in Italy of the European Parliament and Commission, the Italian Association of Corporate Security Professionals (AIPSA) and Women 4 Cyber (W4CI); the participation of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA); the support of Atlantica cybersecurity, Alé Comunicazione and Cyber 4.0.
The initiative, promoted by Planet Diplomacy and carried out in collaboration with the University of Padua, the UNISMART University Foundation of Padua, the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Information Engineering and the Master of Cybersecurity, will be held starting from 2 pm, at the headquarters of Le Villagge by CA Triveneto, Piazza Giacomo Zanellato 23 – Padua. In the first part of the afternoon there will be a succession of interventions by representatives of the National Cybersecurity Agency, of the Representation of the European Commission in Italy, of the Italian Association of Corporate Security Professionals (AISPA), of Women for Cyber (W4C), of the European Cybersecurity Union (ENISA). Following this, candidates will have the opportunity to interact directly with the business world and have a clear vision of the sector’s expectations. Prominent companies such as UESE, Corvallis, A2A, Atlantica Cybersecurity, BV Tech, Cyber 4.0, Almaviva will be present and will share the specific needs of the sector and career opportunities.
The project has a strongly multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach: in the recruiting activity, IT skills and those linked to new technologies are certainly sought, but also those capable of interpreting the declinations of cybersecurity in the numerous domains of scientific, technological and applicative interests such as health, legal, social, economic and educational. The protagonists of the initiative are the Universities, the perfect forum to satisfy this type of recruiting action.
