The Diplomacy Festival with the MAECI and the Academy of Fine Arts of Frosinone promotes the national competition “Emigration and human mobility“. The call, aimed at young people under 30, is aimed at creating a graphic novel on the theme of Italian migration. The aim is to tell, through an original story that can describe in a particularly significant and original way, the Italian presence abroad by retracing past eras and more recent mobility flows.
The best projects in the competition will be evaluated and selected by a jury of industry experts and professionals in the field of the arts, jointly nominated by the Diplomacy Festival, the Frosinone Academy of Fine Arts and the Ministry’s Directorate General for Italians Abroad of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
The result of the vote will be published by 5 October on the website www.festivaldelladiplomazia.it. A prize of one thousand euros is up for grabs for the winner, an amount that can double with an additional one thousand euros if the entire graphic novel is created within six months of the outcome and where publication is proposed. The awards ceremony and display of a selection of the best tables through a temporary exhibition will take place during the Diplomacy Festival, the only event in the world entirely dedicated to geopolitics and international relations, which this year will return to enliven Rome from 19 to October 27th.
