Evening opening of Villa Massenzio

On Saturday 1 June, during the first evening opening, it will be possible to visit the Villa of Massenzio with the evocative lighting of the new system inaugurated last 20 April. At the entrance, the Mausoleum and the Circus, specialized operators will illustrate the archaeological site in Italian and English from 7pm to 9.30pm. The Villa will be open from 10am to 10pm (last entry 9.30pm).

The program of evening events is promoted by Roma Capitale, Capitoline Superintendence of Cultural Heritage and will continue every Saturday in the months of June and July. Among the upcoming events, Archeology and Nature from light to dark. Walk to discover the fireflies of the Circus of Maxentius on 8 June, while on the following Saturday, in addition to the guided tour by the archaeological officials of the Superintendence, it will be possible to attend a classical music concert by the John Cabot Music Orchestra.
