IMMAGINA – Internatioanl Theather festival

From 9 to 12 May 2024 IMMAGINA, THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF THEATER OF FIGURE IN ROME returns with its protagonists: marionettes, marionettes, shadows and every type of magical creature created by the imagination and talent of artists from all over the world.

The three Theaters in the Municipality – the Quarticciolo Library Theatre, the Villa Pamphilj Theater and the Lido di Ostia Theater – with the Museum of Civilizations and the Central Institute for the Intangible Heritage of the Ministry of Culture, propose a festival spread throughout the city with a calendar of 12 shows for a total of 40 performances and then exhibitions, workshops, meetings. Some of the most significant puppet theater companies from Turkey, Portugal, Bulgaria, Poland, Chile, Paraguay and Italy will be on stage for four days dedicated to imagination and creativity, for adults and children.
