L’IILA – International Italo-Latin American Organization, Energheia – Cultural Association Matera, Edizioni SUR and Scuola del Libro announce the IESS AWARD FOR THE FIRST LATIN AMERICAN NOVEL. The Prize is aimed at emerging authors under the age of 35 with nationality of one of the Latin American member countries of the IILA and whose objective is to identify and disseminate new items of Latin American literature not yet translated or published in Italy.
The first edition of the IESS Award will see the participation of a high-level jury from the Italian academic, publishing and literary world. The winning work will be announced on 31 December 2022 and the award ceremony will take place on 31 December 2023.
