The Giro d’Italia ends in Rome on Sunday 28

The pink race will end its almost 20-day journey in the capital, arriving at the Imperial Forums on Sunday 28 in afternoon. The second most important stage cycling event on the world scene will see the final stage divided into two parts: approach, from the start in Rome-EUR, up to the first passage on the finish line (you reach the coast at Ostia and return to the starting area ) and then the final circuit (6 laps) inside the Capital. The 13.6 km circuit develops entirely along the city streets (wide and sometimes with some traffic dividers). Short undulations alternate with long straights connected by sometimes demanding curves. The road surface is mainly asphalted with some short stretches paved (“sanpietrini”)”.
