The Great Italian Vision – Farnesina Collection

At the Farnesina, in the Sala Aldo Moro, on Thursday 26 January, at 16:00, there will be a press conference entitled “The Great Italian Vision. Farnesina Collection”, to present the traveling exhibition organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva.

The event will be chaired by Undersecretary Maria Tripodi and introduced by Amb. Pasquale Terracciano, director general for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, the curator of the exhibition Achille Bonito Oliva and the ambassador Umberto Vattani, creator of the Collection, will also take part.

The Great Italian Vision. Farnesina Collection” is a journey through the history of Italian art from the twentieth century to today, through seventy-two works by great artists such as Carla Accardi and Fortunato Depero, Mimmo Jodice and Michelangelo Pistoletto, passing through Mario Merz up to Gilberto Zorio. One of the most important modern and contemporary art collections in Rome.
