At Villa Wolkonsky, the British Embassy and the Diplomacy Festival organized an evening that wanted to pay homage to the recently deceased Queen Elizabeth II. Black and white images were projected in the main hall of the Villa, in front of the English ambassador Lord Edward Llewellyn and his guests. The sovereign was also honored by a Round Table which was attended by guests such as: Alessandro Gaudiano, Stefano Polli, Enrica Moddolo moderated by Pierluigi Puglia, spokesman for the British government in Italy. Excerpts from the Queen’s speeches were read on the occasion of her visits to the beautiful country by the actress Paola Michelini.
Among the guests present were also the ambassador of Australia Margaret Twomey, Elena Valensise and Giorgio and Gabrielle Bartolomucci, representing the Diplomacy Festival.
