Norway’s permanent delegation to the United Nations organizations is part of the Norwegian embassy in Rome. He is responsible for promoting Norwegian policy and cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food Program (WFP) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The Norwegian Embassy in Rome currently has 22 employees, including 6 diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The UN delegation includes a Permanent Representative (Ambassador to the United Nations), a Deputy Permanent Representative, two locally employed advisors and an intern. One of the consultant positions will be available starting October 1st. We are therefore looking for a new team member who has relevant experience in international development cooperation and humanitarian policy, as well as an interest in the field of food security.
