Week of Italian Cuisine in the World

The eighth edition of the SCIM – Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is underway, held from 13 to 19 November 2023, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. This year the culinary event of Made in Italy food stopped in Rome at the IPSEOA Gioberti Institute in Trastevere which hosted a lunch dedicated to good Italian food, cooked by the Institute’s students.

This is the important annual event that promotes quality Italian cuisine and products through activities that take place in Italian embassies and consulates, in Italian cultural institutes and in ICE offices abroad, supporting exports, internationalization and incoming tourist flows. Over 9,200 initiatives have been carried out in this context from 2016 to today by the network of Italian Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutes in more than one hundred countries, which include in-depth seminars on the Mediterranean diet, meetings with economic operators in the sector, training and demonstration classes, meetings with chefs.
