On Wednesday 14 June 2023, from 11.00, the Sapienza University of Rome, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the National Blood Center and the Universities of Lazio, will host an event to celebrate World Blood Donor Day.
The program of the event includes the realization of numerous initiatives throughout the day. During the morning, a conference will take place in the Aula Magna which will be attended by numerous health experts and professionals, Olympic athletes and show business personalities and testimonials of the donation campaign. In the evening there will be an open-air concert with musical performances by solo singers and university bands, promoted by the Automobile Club of Italy (ACI). Throughout the day, information stands and two blood banks and a plasma blood bank will also be present on the university campus for those wishing to contribute to the donation of blood and plasma.
